The show was founded as "Metro Petro" in 1998. The logo artwork was drawn by Dave Muller. The first show was in the auction barn at the Old Feed Mill Auction in Boonton, NJ in 1999, thanks to Jack Wootton and family for providing the venue for launching this much anticipated show. Our inaugural effort featured gasoline and oil company collectibles and automobilia. Many of the original vendors are still with us. Over the next 12 years, it was held in Wayne, NJ. We welcomed new vendors and expanded into all types of vintage advertising items and collectibles. In 2012, we moved to Elmwood Park, NJ for 3 years. In 2015 we moved to Pompton Lakes NJ Elks.
